Ryan Pedler - Stomata Spaces Landscape and garden designer

Advanced Diploma in Horticulture, Graduate Certificate in Garden Design - Melbourne University (Burnley Campus)

Ryan Pedler is Stomata Spaces. Ryan grew up on a farm in remote South Australia where he connected to the beauty of the natural environment and was inspired by the infinite forms of plants and their place in the world.

Now Melbourne has his heart. He lives and breathes plants and gardens and works to design spaces that inspire you.

Spaces where you can find your connection to the natural world.

Here are some of the spaces I am proud of.

Stomata

In botany, a stoma, also called a stomata, is a pore found in the epidermis of leaves, stems, and other organs, that controls the rate of gas exchange. The pore is bordered by a pair of specialised parenchyma cells known as guard cells that regulate the size of the stomatal opening.

The gas exchange in a stomata is a reference to the relationship humans have to the designed and natural spaces around us. Our gardens are our spaces that regulate our relationship with nature.

I would love to work with you to create your space.
